The End Of Our Journey

Well, it looks like our journey has finally come to an end. It's been a long run hasn't it? We've gone through many different problems but we were able to overcome them. Our final outcome, the CanLid, even though not turning out the way we expected, is a complete success. All three of us are extremely satisfied with our product. We hoped you've enjoyed this adventure as much as we have!

Day 4: Final Day

During this day, we experienced difficulty with our cap idea. It continuously kept breaking off so we decided to just forget the idea. In replace of it, we decided to use clay as a lid. Instead of the lid just covering the hole, the clay covered the entire top part of the can. We found this idea far superior to the idea of using a cap.

Day 3: Failure Leads to Success

Today we focused on making the CanLid. We thought up the materials we needed and began creating it. Our initial plan was to cut the bottom of a pop can, but it didn't work out as well as we expected.

Afterwards, we decided to cut half a bottle of tea and it worked out well. We made it so that the bottle would stay on top of the can while still able to rotate. We took advantage of this by gluing a bottle cap to our cut bottle so that the cap would act as a lid. On the opposite side, we cut a hole to drink. Now, when you want to seal your pop can, you rotate the bottle so that the cap will cover the opening. When you want a drink, you rotate the bottle again so that the hole aligns with the pop can.

Day 2: The Combination

Although we had a bunch of cool ideas, today we decided that we should focus on one idea and make it the best we could possibly manage. We combined the two ideas together and kept the name as the CanLid. The CanLid allows you to reseal your can and also making "airing" easier. We think that the CanLid will be extremely useful to a wide variety of people and we can't wait to get the finished product.

Idea #2 (The "Canlid')

Our second idea is a lid for covering pop bottles such as coke. It is designed so that you can reseal your pop can after you've opened it. Here is what our idea looks like:

Idea #1 (The "Lid-Piece")

The first idea that we came up with is called the "Lid-Piece". It is designed to make "airing" easier whenever you want to take a sip from your friends' drink. Here is what our idea looks like:

Day 1: Brainstorming

We've always experienced difficulty with various ways of drinking such as airing drinks, storing half drunk pop cans, and other annoying quarrels. We wanted to improve these problems, so we brainstormed some innovative ways to improve drinking from water bottles, pop cans, etc. Here are some ideas we came up with.
